The VX-8™ platform
I. The longevity complex
The actives the longevity-minded already take as supplements, formulated for skin. Each one is a powerful antioxidant, studied in longevity research, and used here to help skin look more resilient, energised and radiant.
- Nicotinamide riboside: the NAD+ precursor at the centre of longevity research
- PQQ: antioxidant support linked to cellular energy
- Ergothioneine: the antioxidant the body makes room for
- Encapsulated resveratrol: protected so it stays stable to the last dose
II. The peptide network
Signal peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as messengers in the skin. Vellura uses nine across the system, each chosen for a different visible concern: firmness, calm, elasticity and expression lines. A single formula carries up to five.
- Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7: the recurring core of the network
- Palmitoyl tripeptide-5: the firmness peptide
- Acetyl tetrapeptide-2: for the look of firm, dense skin
- Acetyl hexapeptide-8: softens the look of expression lines
- Copper tripeptide-1: the copper peptide
III. The barrier
A strong barrier is the foundation for everything else. Vellura uses three ceramides with cholesterol, modelled on the skin's own lipid mix, supported by hydration and tone actives.

How we formulate
- Doses that mean something. Every active is dosed in the ranges its suppliers recommend and published studies use, not at trace levels for the label.
- Protected actives. Opaque airless bottles keep light- and air-sensitive ingredients stable from the first dose to the last.
- Built as a system. Six formulas share one platform, so each one works with the others.
